First stakeholder workshop announced

Call for participation

The JANUS consortium is pleased to announce its first stakeholder workshop, to be held online on 15 October 2026. The workshop aims to engage the wider ATM research community in identifying and describing computationally complex problems in air traffic management that could benefit from quantum computing.

Workshop goals

• Present the JANUS project methodology and objectives
• Gather detailed technical descriptions of optimisation and AI/ML problems from the community
• Facilitate one-on-one follow-up interviews with researchers
• Build a shared catalogue of quantum-amenable problems

Researchers who have published on ATM optimisation, traffic flow management, airspace configuration, or related topics are especially encouraged to participate.
