JANUS project kicks off in Zagreb

A new beginning
The JANUS project officially launched with a kick-off meeting hosted by the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences (FTTS) in Zagreb, Croatia. Representatives from all six consortium partners gathered to set the stage for three years of research into quantum computing applications in air traffic management.
Meeting highlights
- Presentation of the overall project vision and methodology
- Detailed planning of the first work package activities
- Establishment of the Steering Board and communication channels
- Agreement on the initial systematic literature review scope
The consortium agreed on an ambitious timeline for the first reporting period, with the Catalogue of Quantum-Amenable Problems (D4.1) and the Cryptography Needs Report (D3.2) set as key milestones for month 12.
