Review progress

The systematic literature review led by EuroUSC and supported by all consortium partners has screened over 200 papers across Scopus, Web of Science, IEEE Xplore, and arXiv. The review follows the PRISMA methodology to ensure transparent and reproducible reporting.

Preliminary findings

Early results indicate a rich field of computationally complex problems spanning:

  • Dynamic airspace configuration and sectorisation
  • Traffic flow management and flight scheduling
  • 4D trajectory planning and conflict resolution
  • Gate assignment and sequencing
  • UAM route optimisation and drone swarm coordination

The full catalogue will be published as Deliverable D4.1 at month 12, along with an effort-versus-impact analysis identifying the most promising candidates for quantum computing implementation.
